Wall comes to Blanchardstown : A recent photographic exhibition
at Pearse Street Library focussed on the efforts of Latvians to attract
global attention to the fate of the Baltic countries by leaving graffiti
messages on the Berlin Wall during the period 1987-1989. |

Charity
event a huge success :
There is a tendency in today’s recession-laden times to believe
that ordinary people possess neither the will nor the clout necessary
to make a difference in the lives of others. Yet with funding under serious
threats in our hospitals, the continued welfare of our community is often
reliant on ordinary individuals coming together for a good cause.

Open
day at Huntstown : If
you live in Huntstown, you will have no excuse for ignorance of local
services and activities as the Community Centre is inviting all residents
to a giant fun-filled Community Celebration Day from 3pm to 6pm on Friday
September 10th.

Art
and Crafts for Will : Last August, while on
holiday in Majorca, 18-year old Bangor resident Will Doggart dived into
shallow water, hit a sandbank and broke his neck. Will is the nephew of
Amanda Cunningham, wife of Robin Cunningham, the Clonsilla based undertaker.
